About Badminton NWT

Badminton NWT is the Territorial Sport Organization responsible for the development and promotion of badminton across the Northwest Territories.

Working with clubs, schools, coaches, officials, volunteers, and community partners, we are committed to creating opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to play, learn, compete, and lead through badminton.

From introducing youth to the sport in their communities to supporting athletes on the path to the Canada Winter Games and national championships, Badminton NWT is dedicated to building a strong, inclusive, and sustainable badminton community across the North.

In addition to athlete development, we support coach education, official development, competitions, leadership opportunities, and Safe Sport initiatives that help strengthen Badminton throughout the territory.
