Badminton NWT is excited to welcome athletes to the 2nd Annual Laurell and Ron Graf Badminton Open this weekend! We’re looking forward to great rallies, strong sportsmanship, and a fun-filled atmosphere at the Sir John Franklin High School gym.

As with any large badminton tournament, we’d like to remind participants and families that match schedules and draws are subject to change. These adjustments may occur due to late participant changes, scheduling conflicts, and other logistical challenges. We will update the event webpage as soon as possible if any changes arise.

Please note:

• Match times are estimates. Matches may start earlier if courts are available, so we kindly ask players to be ready to play at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled time.
• With many athletes playing in multiple categories, flexibility in the schedule is essential. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
• We are also running an Umpire Clinic during the event, so many matches will be officiated by officials-in-training. We thank you for supporting their learning journey!

Location: Sir John Franklin School Gym (some Saturday matches may be moved to St. Pat’s Gym depending on availability)

Payment Reminder: If you have not yet paid your registration fee, please send an e-transfer as soon as possible to the event email. If you’re unable to do so, payment will be collected on-site Friday at 6:00 PM during check-in.
